Bodegas Jean Leon
Jean Leon is a particular story: Ceferino Carrión, son of a Santander baker who emigrated to the US in the 1950s, opened La Scala restaurant in Hollywood (Marilyn Monroe, Sinatra, Streisand) and in 1963 bought the Torrelavid estate to make quality wine for his tables — the first Cabernet Sauvignon planted in Spain.
