Valencia
Valencia is the most underrated city in Spain for wine tourism. It has Utiel-Requena — where bobal is finally proving itself as a serious variety — an hour west, and the broader D.O. Valencia in its orbit, with expanding production of reds, whites, and sweet wines. Beyond wine, the city has a regional cuisine of its own (real paella, fideuà, all i pebre, horchata, fartons) and a quality of life that makes the city-plus-winery combination one of the easiest in Spain.
