Emilio Moro has been making wine in Pesquera de Duero for three generations, but the current brand was launched in the 1990s with José Moro at the helm. Today it's one of Ribera's most respected mid-sized houses, with a portfolio from Resalso (entry-level) to Malleolus de Sanchomartín (top of the range, single vineyard). The visit has improved markedly in recent years — modern facilities, a tasting room with vineyard views, and a restaurant serving updated Ribera cuisine.
